    • The second exam average is lower than the first. This is common for the course, as the first exam has a lot more review material, and the second exam has both new material and extensions of material learned in previous courses.

    • Please review your score. You may need to adjust your study methods and the time spent on working book problems and extra practice problems to acheive the score you hope to.

    • I encourage you to use the long weekend to continue work and reading in Chapter 4.

    • Note that Exam #3 will relate to mostly new material. However, I think that with diligent work, the exam scores will improve.

Academic Integrity

  • Academic integrity is an important issue in all academic settings, and will be taken very seriously by the instructor of this course, and the college generally.

  • I recognize that most students conduct themselves with honesty and integrity. I also recognize that the actions of a few dishonest students and the impact of those actions on the academic process necessitate a frank and ongoing discussion of this issue.

  • Please review the student handbook information on academic integrity at the following link: http://www.skylinecollege.edu/pdf/campuslife/studenthandbook/PoliciesandProcedures.pdf
